2012 National Development ID Rowing Camp

Texas Rowing For All hosted the National Development Rowing Camp for Persons  with Intellectual Disabilities (I.D.)  on the beautiful (and warm) Lady Bird Lake in the Heart of downtownAustin,Texas.     The 2012 Development Camp was held March 22-25, 2012

Athletes from across the USA had opportuninites to develop as skilled rowing athletes during this Camp. The Camp featured a busy schedule (mostly on-the-water) centered upon heightening skills and technique in mastery of sculling and sweep rowing; developing confidence; learning racing strategies; having fun and developing new friendships during this focused learning experience. Our coaching staff has first hand experience working with athletes with intellectual disabilities and rowing instruction/coaching. This year and last year’s successful US Rowing National Development Camp both have received **rave reviews** from athlete participants, families, sponsors, and coaches attending our Camp.
